![]() If you find rampage boots or something, give that a shot. ![]() I think one thing to look for that makes stabbing builds insane is 'rampage'. Healing a lot while stabbing paralyzed enemies. You work on the first creature with leech and once the group starts getting paralyzed and sharing pain, go to work with the stabbing weapon. But what you have now, switching between leech and quickblade is a pretty good combo. Usually I look for a rapier of speed to move into the late game. I feel like I'm an expert when I build to 5+ piety and grand finale pan lords. Then when you stab the enemy, most of the time you're on your way to a mass paralyze - once that happens you can just stab your way into the share pain threshold. You can confuse nearly any enemy and stab them if you change to your quickblade. And once you get to two piety, line dance is really powerful. But if you don't want to get surrounded so much, I go with longblades to soften up the first enemy. Axes are often very good if you are letting yourself get surrounded. in rare cases, because faith is so good, I'll equip a randart amulet only if it has a lot better stats.Īnyway, to use this god efficiently, I think it has a lot to do with damage output. You already have high invocations, so you might be able to get away without using a faith amulet. If you start with that, switching to quickblade is better because of the speed of the stabbing attacks. However, you have leech - so vs awake monsters you might try and get piety and switch weapons. The slaying ring is helping the quickblade last longer, but if you upgrade the elec rapier it might outclass the quickblade vs high AC. ![]() While berserking, you don’t have access to god abilities, and once it wears off, you’re kinda stuck.Įveryone seems to have pretty good advice. Leech may be better in the short run until you get a decent rapier or quick blade, but that chance of berserk is very dangerous. More specific to this run: having only +0 elec at XL 11 is somewhat unfortunate. VSBe Trog is a surprisingly good combo, being able to shift from “sneaky stabber” to “whirlwind of quick blade and fury” is really powerful. Fast regen also helps keep you in the fight for longer, helping you build up piety. Vine Stalkers get a chance at their antimagic bite every time they swing, so quick blades or similar give them the most bites / round. Uskayaw works great with short blades and VS in particular because Uskayaw paralyzes enemies for essentially free, and you can get free stabs off them. What Uskayaw cares about most is how long combat lasts, so ideally, you should be fighting enemies one, maybe two at a time in a narrow corridor. For Uskayaw, what matters most isn’t engaging multiple foes at once that’s a quick way to get surrounded and killed.
